Previous E&E Congresses have been held in Strasbourg in 1996, Barcelona in 2000, Vienna in 2004 and in Copenhagen in 2008.

Thank you to all of those that participated and sponsored activities in the recent 5th E&E Congress - Destination Istanbul. Your support has helped to make it one of the most successful congresses so far.
The final number of over 1000 delegates registered exceeded the numbers attending both previous congresses in Copenhagen and Vienna; we almost reached a new record for number of papers accepted; and we experienced the biggest exhibition and poster session ever!
